“For my family and I to make a decision about something fairly momentous in such a short space of time means one of two things. Either we were so turned off by the whole idea that it was easy to say 'no' or we were so comfortable with the whole idea that it was easy to say 'yes'. Thankfully in our case it was the latter. From first logging onto the Northland website to agreeing to purchase significant amounts of land in Manitoba took less than a month. This included a weeks trip to Canada! We were so taken with everything about the idea, the people involved as well as the place itself, that it was an easy decision to make. Thanks in no small measure to Carl initially, who was extremely helpful and responsive and Jim, who was patience personified as well as an excellent 'tour guide'. We love Canada, even more so after this experience, and would have no hesitation in recommending the route we took to others. The next step now is to finalise immigration issues and move there!"
